Minutes of the November 10, 2010 President’s meeting 7:00 PM

 

Call to Order:

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the following chapters represented:

Minutes:

The minutes were accepted as printed.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

As of 10 November 2010, we have a balance of $1281.45 in our Region account. Treasurers Report accepted as printed.

 

TBF Federation Business: State meeting this Sunday, 14 November 2010. The Boater/Non Boater will be voted on.

FLW/TBF/State dues are due 1 December 2010, this can be done on the TBF Website only. I will need 2 copies of your Rosters.

 

BFN Federation Business:  The Region voted for State President to be Steve Woodruff. State meeting on Sunday 14 November 2010.

Ivan Morris finished 2nd Place in the Classic and will go on the State Team next year, congratulations Ivan. Chris Napier finished in 11th Place

congratulations Chris.

BFN/State dues are due by 31 December 2010 along with rosters. I will need 2 copies of your Roster.

        

Region Seven Business:  BFN Director needed for next year, Sid asked for nominations to be brought to the next meeting if someone is interested

in being the BFN Director.                                

 

Tournament Director’s Report:  1st Region Tournament is on March 19, 2011, at Lake Gaston, Americamps. 2nd Region Tournament is on 16 April 2011

at Lake Kerr, North Bend. Voted on the following dates and sites: 12 June 2011, Chick, Rt. 13 Bridge, and 16 July 2011 Smallwood State Park. As an

alternate site the Chowan River, Rt. 13 Bridge was voted on as the site if one of these sights can not be filled.

 

Youth:  Susan is collecting plastics and gently used hats again for the 2011 season. Possible Girl Scout event about 50 Girl Scouts at Northwest River Park.

Susan will need 6 to 8 volunteers, Susan will give a date and time.

 

Adjournment:

The meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.   The next meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., DECEMBER 1, 2010, at Oceans East 2 Tackle Shop.
