Minutes of the June 08, 2011 President’s meeting 7:00 PM

Call to Order:

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the following chapters represented: Back Bay, Bassholes, Confederate, Great Bridge, Lakeland, Little Creek,

Performance, Princess Anne, Southeastern, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The following chapters were not represented: Backwoods

Minutes:

The minutes were accepted as printed.

Treasurer’s Report:

As of May 18, 2011, we have a balance of $2415.73 in our Region account. Treasurers Report accepted as printed.

TBF Federation Business: Brian gave Woody the question he asked about the Cabela’s Angler Cash question. No new State Business.

BFN Federation Business: None

Region Seven Business: Virginia Bassmasters Proposed By-Law change to the State BFN was submitted, it needs to be taken back to your clubs to see if you want to

support this By-Law change. Take this back to your clubs and discuss this with your clubs. A reminder, MID YEAR ROSTERS are due, I will need 2 Copies of your

Club Roster with names, addresses, and phone numbers (both Home and Cell). I am still missing a few Rosters.

Tournament Director’s Report: At the next meeting we will hold Pre-Registration for the Potomac River Tournament, out of Smallwood State Park. One Check

to pay for your Club. The following clubs are the Volunteer Clubs for the Region 7 River Tournament Princess Anne, Southeastern, and SEVA on 16 July 2011.

Youth: Susan is collecting plastics and gently used hats again for the 2011 season. Susan said the Munden Point Fishing Clinic went very well. Only 4 Clubs did not attend.

She will need more volunteers for the Munden Point Fishing Clinic on October 2, 2011. Susan is hosting 2 Region 7 Youth Fundraiser Tournaments out of Bob’s Fishing Hole,

Fliers were passed out, dates are 25 June 2011 and 30 July 2011.

The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., July 13, 2011, at Oceans East 2 Tackle Shop.
