Minutes of the April 13, 2011 President’s meeting 7:00 PM

Call to Order:

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the following chapters represented: Backwoods, Back Bay, Bassholes, Battlefield, Confederate, County, Great Bridge, Green Horn Anglers, HRFT, Lakeland, Little Creek, Princess Anne, Southeastern, Southeastern Va., Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The following chapters were not represented: Performance

The minutes were accepted as printed.

Treasurer’s Report:

As of 13 April 2011, we have a balance of $ in our Region account. Treasurers Report accepted as printed.

TBF Federation Business: None

BFN Federation Business: Mr. BASS Region 7 had 4 anglers in the Money, Craig Owens 5^th, John Scott 8^th, Red Bruun 12^th, and Ivan Morris 20^th. Congratulations to all. Virginia Bassmasters Proposed By-Law change to the State BFN. We will discuss this at our next meeting.

Region Seven Business: Rick Wisswell stepped down as our Tournament Director, a thank you letter was written to Rick, please when you see him shake his hand and thank him for a job well done. Dwayne Likens volunteered to be the new Tournament Director.

Tournament Director’s Report: Lake Kerr Region Tournament on 16 April 2011 out of North Bend.

Youth: Susan is collecting plastics and gently used hats again for the 2011 season. The Girl Scout event for about 50 Girl Scouts will be held at Northwest River Park May 21, 2011 from 9:00a.m. to 11:00 a.m.. Susan will need 6 to 8 volunteers.

A reminded, MID YEAR ROSTERS are due, at the June Region 7 Meeting. I will need 2 Copies of your Club Roster with names, addresses, and phone numbers (both Home and Cell).
