Minutes of the July 13, 2011 President’s meeting 7:00 PM

 

Call to Order:

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the following chapters represented:  Back Bay, Lake Gaston Bassholes,  Confederate, Great Bridge, Lakeland,

Little Creek, Performance,  Princess Anne, Southeastern, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

                                                             

The following chapters were not represented: Battlefield

 

Minutes:

The minutes were accepted as printed.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

As of July 13, 2011, we have a balance of $3211.89  in our Region account. Treasurers Report accepted as printed.

 

TBF Federation Business: The proposed 2012 State Calendar is out and it will be voted on at the August State meeting.

 

BFN Federation Business:  Sid helped with the Junior National’s, Sid said it was a very good tournament for them. Sid and Abby said 2 Scholarship’s

were given out for $500.00 each. Sid said the BFN Calendar will be voted on at the August State meeting.

        

Region Seven Business:   Held the Pre-Registration for the Potomac River Tournament. .t the August meeting we will put together our Tournament Committee,

it is important you attend this meeting. We will be getting the Fall Classic stuff ready also.

 

Tournament Director’s Report:  The following clubs are the Volunteer Clubs for the Region 7 River Tournament Princess Anne, Southeastern, and SEVA on 16 July 2011.

 

Youth:  Susan is collecting plastics and gently used hats again for the 2011 season. Susan is hosting 2 Region 7 Youth  Fundraiser Tournaments out of Bob’s Fishing Hole,

Fliers were passed out, dates are 25 June 2011 and 30 July 2011.

 

Adjournment:

The meeting adjourned at 7:42 p.m.   The next meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., August 17, 2011, at Oceans East 2 Tackle Shop.         

 

The Proposed State TBF Calendar for 2012 is enclosed and it will be voted on at the State meeting in August.
