of the 18 January 2012 President’s Meeting

Call to Order: The meeting was
called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the following chapters represented: Back Bay,
Backwoods, Lake Gaston Bassholes,
Confederate,
County, Great Bridge, Green Horn, HRFT, Little Creek, Performance, Princess
Anne, Southeastern, SEVA, and Virginia, Virginia Beach.
The following chapters were not
represented: None
Minutes: The minutes of 15 November 2011 were
accepted as printed.
Treasurer’s Report: As of 18 January
2012 we have a balance of $1481.94 in our Region account. Treasurer’s Report
accepted as printed.
BFN Federation Business: Joan Blankenship
is the Region 5 Director. Steve Woodruff was voted Vice President. Mr. BASS on
24 & 25 March
2012
you may send 2 Boaters and 2 Non Boaters. Fall Classis 21 & 22 October
2012.
TBF Federation Business: By-Laws have
been updated and are on the State web site. Mr. Bass you may send 2 Boaters and
2 Non Boaters, Host
hotel is the Best
Western in Radford. Region 3 has a new Director, Calvin (Catfish) Hunter.
Region 3 currently has 3 clubs and is working on 4 to 5
more clubs to join
TBF. Ray Allen is the new Tight Lines Editor; Spring Articles are due to him 15
February 2012.
Region
Seven Business: We would like to thank Ivan for letting
us have our meeting at his office. Thank you for the soda and water.
Don Carter and Allan Rockwell were presented plaques
for 2011 Angler of the Year. 2012 Big Bass Lotto form and 2012 Bass Boat
Insurance form are posted on the regions website. Club Presidents for 2012 can
you please send me your updated information, address, email address, home, and
cell phone numbers. I cannot pull up our past Presidents list.I
need this information ASAP to get it out. Thank you for your assistance. I
still need a few Clubs Rosters. Pam Bryant with BFN said she is having trouble
with BASS in getting Roster updates. As soon as they become available we can go
online and print out the rosters. Sid has been contacted about a Wounded
Warriors Tournament; we will help with this event. Sid will provide more
information. Little Creek Bass Anglers made a $250.00 Sponsorship donation.
Mike Cumberledge also made a $100.00 Sponsorship
donation. Wayne Hayes will be donating 5 to 6 Goody Bags at each Region
Tournament.

Volunteer Clubs for Lake Gaston, 2 Boats
per Club: Back Bay, Backwoods, and
Confederate. At the next meeting all remaining
Tournaments will have the Volunteers assigned.
Youth: Susan is collecting plastics and gently used
hats. Region 7 Youth Events, family fishing clinics are
scheduled 2 June 2012 and 6 October 2012 out of Munden
Point.
Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 8:12 p.m.
The
next meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., 14 March 2012 at Oceans East 2 Tackle
Shop.
