As
of 16 February 2011, we have a balance of $4176.45 in our Region account. Treasurers

Federation Business: The Boater/Non Boater By-Law
change will be voted on at the 6 March 2011 State Meeting. A question came up
about the $5.00
Ramp Fee for Americamps which is included in the Registration Fee. Brian will
get an answer on this question and get back to us.

Federation Business: New
Clubs are eligible to fish Mr. BASS and Chapter Team Tournaments. If you buy a
Trition boat the State get money
from Trition as well as product. You also get money back when
you buy the boat. B.A.S.S. will have there own website on May 1, 2011. The
following
hotels are giving
reduced rates to BFN Members in South Hill, VA., Hampton Inn $69.00: Comfort
Inn $60.00: Quality Inn $55.00 a night. They have
electrical hook ups
for your boat at all the Hotels

The
following By-Law change 6.1-3 Tournament Dates was submitted and voted on by a
Roll Call vote.
Annually, no later than October 1st,
four dates and tournament sites will be chosen for the following year by a
committee consisting of the
two
Region Directors, the Region Tournament Director and a minimum of three Chapter
Presidents. The Region Secretary will keep a record
of
the tournament selection committee proceedings. The Tournament selection
committee will choose dates and locations based on available
ramp
permits and dates that do not conflict with official state and region events.
The tournament schedule will be presented to the Chapter
Presidents and membership as soon as all ramp
permits are obtained. Once
Tournament dates and sites are set they will not be changed
without
the expressed concurrence of the Region Chapter Presidents.

Region 7 gave permission for Little
Creek Bass Anglers to sell raffle tickets for a Lowrance
hand Held GPS for $5.00 a Ticket at the Lake Gaston and
Lake Kerr Region Tournaments, drawing
to be held at the Lake Kerr Tournament, you do not have to be present to win.
Tournament
Director’s Report: 2011
Big Fish Lotto and 2011 Boat Insurance paper work needs to be turned at the 16
March 2011 meeting.
Youth: Susan is collecting plastics and gently used
hats again for the 2011 season. Possible Girl Scout event about 50 Girl Scouts
at Northwest River Park.
Susan
will need 6 to 8 volunteers, Susan will give a date and time.
