Minutes of the January 6, 2010 President’s meeting 7:00 PM

Call to Order:

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the following chapters represented: Back Bay, Backwoods , Battlefield, Bassholes,

Confederate, County, Great Bridge, Green Horn Anglers, Lakeland, Little Creek, Performance, Princess Anne, Southeastern, Southeastern

Va., Topwater, Virginia, Virginia Beach.

The following chapters were not represented: HRFT

Minutes:

The minutes were accepted as printed.

Treasurer’s Report:

As of January 6, 2010, we have a balance of $6498.73 in our Region account. Treasurers Report accepted as printed.

TBF Federation Business: A By-Law Change was motioned by Bassholes and 2^nd by Little Creek: By-Law 6.2-2(4)a. Fall Classic.

All Non Boaters will pay to Region 7 at the Fall Classic pairings meeting, a sum of $40.00 to be paid to Region 7 for there share of boat

expenses. If a Non Boater moves up to as Boater he will be refunded his $40.00. If a Non Boater drops out after the Region 7 pairings

meeting, he will not be refunded his money. All Non Boaters must pay $40.00 for Boat expenses and these funds are Non Refundable.

Roll Call Vote: 16 YES, 1 ABSTAIN, and 1 Club not represented. Motion PASSED.

Region Seven Business: Rosters need to be e-mailed to me or turned in at the Region meeting, 2 copies are needed, Boat Insurance,

and Big Fish Lotto, are being collected. Big Fish Lotto Forms and Boat Insurance Forms for 2010 will be emailed to the Club Presidents .

If a Club has a new President I will need his name, address, home phone number, cell phone number, and email address to update the

Presidents Roster. Talk to your club about scheduling a date for the 2011 Region 7 Lake Gaston Tournament, and bring it to the next meeting.

May 23, 2010, Sunday Chowan River Rt. 13 Bridge Southeastern Virginia 2 Boats

July 17, 2010 Saturday Potomac River Leesylvania (Pre Registration Required)

October 3, 2010 Sunday Munden Point Region 7 Open

We need to look at scheduling Lake Gaston a year out to avoid any conflicts.

Susan is collecting plastics and gently used hats again for the 2010 season.
