Minutes of the December 1, 2010 President’s meeting 7:00 PM

Call to Order:

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the following chapters represented: Back Bay, Bassholes,

Confederate, Great Bridge, Green Horn Anglers, Lakeland, Little Creek, Performance, Princess Anne, Southeastern,

Southeastern Va., Virginia.

The following chapters were not represented: Battlefield, HRFT, Virginia Beach

Minutes:

The minutes were accepted as printed.

Treasurer’s Report:

As of 1 December 2010, we have a balance of $4176.45 in our Region account. Treasurers Report accepted as printed.

TBF Federation Business: The Boater/Non Boater By-Law change will be voted on at the January 2011 Meeting. The State

TBF is looking for someone to take over the State Website Administrator, if you have anyone interested please let Brian no as

soon as possible. FLW/TBF/State dues are due 1 December 2010, this can be done on the TBF Website only.

BFN Federation Business: Mike Bryant was voted the new State President

Region Seven Business: No one wanted to run for the BFN Director. Sid Ryan agreed to continue for the 2011 Fishing year.

I will need 2 copies of your club roster with Name, Address and Phone Numbers by 16 February 2011 Meeting. Sid presented

two (2) By-law changes that will be voted on at the 16 February 2011 meeting. 2011 Calendar of Events for the Region was

corrected for 2 October 2011, Region 7 open Tournament out of Munden Point.

Tournament Director’s Report: We are looking for an Assistant Tournament Director for the Region, if anyone is interested please

let Brian or Sid no as soon as possible. Region 7 Tournament Volunteer Flier Sheet was handed out. 2011 Big Fish Lotto and 2011

Boat Insurance paper work give out these will need to be returned at the 16 February 2011 meeting.

Youth: Susan is collecting plastics and gently used hats again for the 2011 season. Possible Girl Scout event about 50 Girl Scouts at

Northwest River Park. Susan will need 6 to 8 volunteers, Susan

will give a date and time.

The meeting adjourned at 7:48 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., February 16, 2011, at Oceans East 2 Tackle Shop.
