Minutes of the May 5, 2010 President’s meeting 7:00 PM

Call to Order:

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the following chapters represented: Back Bay, Backwoods, Bassholes, Battlefield, Confederate, County, Great Bridge, Green Horn Anglers,

HRFT, Lakeland, Little Creek, Performance, Princess Anne, Southeastern, Southeastern Va., Virginia, Virginia Beach.

The following chapters were not represented: None

Minutes:

The minutes were accepted as printed.

Treasurer’s Report:

As of April 7, 2010, we have a balance of $8521.63 in our Region account. Treasurers Report accepted as printed.

TBF Federation Business: Allen Rockwell won the TBF Chapter Team Tournament. David Keisel finished 8^th, congratulations to both of you.

BFN Federation Business: None

Region Seven Business: Held the Pre-Registration for the Chowan River Tournament, the 1^st 40 boats out of the Route 13 Bridge, the other boats out of Tunis. Checkered Flag Toyota is

back as a sponsor, more details to come. Visa Raffle Gift Cards are still available, drawing to be held at the Last Chance Tournament. 2 copies of your Mid Year Rosters are due NOW.

Tournament Director’s Report: PRE-REGISTRATION is required for the Potomac River Tournament on July 14, 2010 at the next Region 7 meeting. The Tournament is July 17, 2010

out of Leesylvannia State Park. You must bring one check for your club and pay at the July 14 2010 meeting. Rick still needs 4 Volunteer Boats, 8 people.

Youth: Roger Armentrout and his wife donated 200 Norfolk Southern hats to the youth, thank you for the hats. Youth events scheduled for June 5 at Munden Point and June 6, at Northwest

River Park, Susan will let us know the volunteers needed once she has a confirmed list from the Parks and Rec people. Susan is collecting plastics and gently used hats again for the 2010 season.
